All Books in Dredge and How to Get Them
Books are items in Dredge that are found or given as a reward for completing Pursuits. They are read passively while time moves, unlocking buffs for you and your equipment once completed.
There are a total of 13 books in the game and The Pale Reach DLC, and you can discover what they are and how to unlock them in this guide.

How to Read Books in Dredge
To select a book to read in Dredge, you need to open your cargo and then select the book you want to read – it’s as simple as that. When reading the book, it’ll be marked as “On Shelf” in your cargo, and you’ll see a completion percentage beside the book.
Only once a book has been read – a notification will appear on-screen – will you be able to see the buff it provides you with, and these are applied automatically without you having to do anything.
