Metroidvania game Omega Warp gets major 1.2 update

The debut title by Brazilian development studio Cian Games has received a major update as well as a discount as part of Steam’s current Summer Sale.
Omega Warp launched a year ago on PC. It follows one of two playable characters – Lana Winfort or Stean Redfire – as they are called to an interstellar freighter to investigate its loss of communications.
When the mission goes wrong, you’re tasked with exploring the freighter’s interconnected decks to uncover what happened, find your crew, fight against a range of alien creatures, and find a way off the freighter.
As part of its first anniversary, Cian Games has launched a 1.2 update for the game, which adds fast travel between save points, options to customise enemy respawn time in previously visited areas, music volume controls, the ability to mute player footsteps, and rebalanced enemy placement.
The update also adds improved projectile movement for tighter combat, updated Brazilian Portuguese localisation, and changed enemy respawn time on the game’s Marine (Very Hard) difficulty.
Cian Games has also released an updated demo for the game, incorporating the above changes to give you a chance to try Omega Warp.
Finally, the sci-fi metroidvania is available at a 40% discount for £7.67/€8.87/$8.99 until July 10th as part of the Steam Summer Sale.
