This award-winning horror fishing sim is currently 50% off on Steam
Black Salt Games’ Dredge is currently 50% off on Steam, just days after winning a major award two years after its initial launch.
The horror fishing simulator, which sees you take on the role of a fisherman as he explores an open-world archipelago in search of ancient artefacts while fishing and avoiding monsters, was first released in 2023.
Two DLCs were released shortly after – The Pale Reach in October 2023 and The Iron Rig in August 2024 – which both added new fish, equipment, monsters, and locations to explore.
The base game and Dredge’s DLC are now all on sale, and the game is included in three discounted bundles, too:
- Dredge (Base game only): £10.99/€12.49/$12.49
- Dredge Digital Deluxe Edition (Comes with Blackstone Key DLC): £11.99/€13.49/$13.49

Dredge’s discount runs until June 26th.
Dredge wins 2025 Apple Design Award
The discount comes just days after Dredge took home the 2025 Apple Design Award for Interaction for its iOS port, which was released in February 2025 alongside a macOS version in the Apple App Store.
Nadia Thorne, the CEO of Dredge developer Black Salt Games, said: “Being honoured with an Apple Design Award is an incredible moment for us.
“We approached Dredge’s iOS version with real care – rethinking how it would feel in players’ hands and how best to bring its atmosphere to a pocket-sized screen.”
She added, “We’re honoured to have that work recognised by Apple.”
It’s not just Apple recognising Dredge’s achievements, as the cozy horror game has earned multiple Game of the Year award nominations, as well as nominations from BAFTA, GDCA, and more.
