Trash Goblin is Leaving Steam Early Access with Giant 1.0 Update

Spilt Milk Studio’s wonderfully wholesome shopkeeping game Trash Goblin is launching out of Steam Early Access with a gigantic 1.0 update later this month.

In the game, which launched in Early Access last year, you run a trinket shop in a fantasy world and must clean and combine trinkets to create new items for customers, and then spend your earned coin to expand your shop and obtain new and better tools.

Since its Early Access launch, Trash Goblin has received several updates, adding new gameplay mechanics and features.

The next major update will bring the “Very Positive” rated game out of Early Access and will add a slew of content, including a full story campaign where you’re tasked with helping NPC Aimon.

It’ll also add 33 new NPCs with unique quests and trinkets, District Travel so you can explore new areas of the city to sell your trinkets, and a Trinketpedia, which tracks all trinkets and whether you’ve discovered, cleaned, upcycled, and sold each.

But that’s not all! The 1.0 update will include the Grand Opening Cosmetic Set, Achievements, the ability to dismiss and summon NPCs, over 100 new trinkets, and plenty of bug fixes, game optimisations, and other changes.

Spilt Milk Studios will also release a Founder’s Pack of cosmetic DLC and the game’s OST as standalone purchases.

Trash Goblin’s 1.0 update will be released on May 28th. Those who haven’t bought it will be able to grab the wholesome game with its 1.0 update on Steam at a new price of £14.99/€18.99/$19.99 from May 28th.
